Jim Cummane
Jim Cummane is Managing Director of The Value Creation Group Pty Ltd. He has had ten years of senior management experience and fifteen years of consulting experience in customer-driven change management, leadership development, strategy formulation, and customer understanding. He has worked in the automotive, banking, insurance, telecommunications, legal services, hotel/restaurant industries and government; including commercialisation of government entities.
Whilst consulting in Australia and the United States, Jim has worked with some of the world’s largest companies. Within these organisations he has led projects focusing on delivering major change successfully, including the transfer of key new skills to management and others in the organisation.

Jim holds a Master's degree in Organisational Change and Development, Loyola University, Chicago and a Master of Management from the Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University, Chicago. Jim is a Kellogg Fellow and a frequent seminar presenter, both locally and internationally.
James Dauner
Jim Dauner is The Value Creation Group Pty. Ltd.’s overseas principal. He currently resides in Chicago, USA, where he works with clients but frequently travels to work with the firm’s clients in Australia. He has more than twenty years of experience as a consultant, writer, and speaker. His clients have ranged from small, family-owned businesses to large, global enterprises. He has worked with clients in the healthcare, telecommunications, retail, automotive, insurance, business information, IT, property management, pharmaceutical, banking, hospitality, advertising, consumer electronics, and manufacturing industries. He has also worked with non-profit and governmental organisations, including the Government of Australia.
During his career, Jim has worked with entrepreneurs, executives, managers, internal consultants, and front line employees. He is a passionate advocate for customer-focused value creation. He has helped organizations develop and apply programs and initiatives designed to align business strategy, people, business processes and technology around customers.

Jim holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology from Beloit College, and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
Steve Casey
Steve Casey is the Director of Value Creating Marketing Pty Ltd, a subsidiary company of The Value Creation Group Pty Ltd.
Steve has worked in the communications industry since 1991. He began his communications career as a freelance journalist in Los Angeles in the early 90’s, and after returning to Australia worked as a general news reporter at WIN TV and at the Seven Network.
From 1995-2000, he worked as Director of Communication at the ATP Tour (the men’s professional tennis tour). Using media and marketing communications initiatives, Steve was responsible for building the ATP Tour’s brand and the profile of men's professional tennis from Australia and New Zealand, through the Asian region including China and India, to South Africa, the Middle East and Russia.
He subsequently worked at rushTV.com, an online venture with the Seven Network. In 2001, he launched Hand Eye Communication Pty Ltd, a media and communication business providing media and marketing communication strategy and implementation across a range of industries including education, financial services, housing, accounting, human resources, migration, sport, technology, architecture, and fashion.

Steve holds a BA from University of Hawaii. Steve is an experienced speaker, having addressed and facilitated numerous client and industry conferences.
Sonia Martinez
Sonia Martinez is the principal consultant of the Value Creating Human Capital Service, which provides strategic and operational HR support and specialist advice to the Value Creation Group's clients.
Sonia has had over 10 years of experience across a diverse range of industries such as the waterfront, international aid, banking and health. Her roles have included management of HR specialist and generalist functions at a national and local level.
Sonia is passionate about assisting organisations to build a relevant and strategic HR function that aligns to business priorities to deliver real results and outcomes in even the toughest environments.

- HR planning, strategy and HR risk management
- Developing HR infrastructure and policies
- Individual and organisational learning and development

She is also qualified to administer a range of instruments including EQ BarOn instruments.Sonia has also conducted her own freelance HR consulting services where clients have included local council, education and construction. She has presented at professional forums and regularly writes on HR related topics for various publications.
Sonia holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Organisational Development and Sociology. Sonia also holds a Diploma in Training and Assessment, a Diploma of Frontline Management and is currently completing her Masters of Management at Monash University.
