Department of Defence

The Department of Defence is Australia’s largest Commonwealth Department responsible for the Australian Defence Forces (ADF) and several other Defence Groups and organisations. 

The Department has an annual operating budget of approximately $20 billion dollars and personnel stationed all around the world serving the national interests. 

Some of VCG's Work:

Assisted Defence through  numerous consulting projects related to assessment, strategy, leadership, corporate services, personnel and organisational renewal, extensively utilising VCG’s Value Focusing® methodologies.  This work included developing and supporting a reality based, leadership driven and strategy connected senior leadership development process.

Defence Signals Directorate
Supported the Agency with an examination of its client relations and service delivery function and assisted it build and utilise a relationship management process.

International Policy Division
Worked with this organisation on reviewing its organisational structure, functions and processes, with a view to improving the level of quality policy services that it provides, both within the Department and externally.
