Medicare (Formerly the Health Insurance Commission)
Medicare Australia is an Australian government agency and plays an integral role in the Australian health sector. Its objective is to assist in improving health outcomes in Australia. Medicare Australia works in partnership with the Department of Health and Ageing to achieve the Australian Government's health policy objectives. The activities of Medicare are conducted within the government policy framework set by the Department of Health and Ageing, Department of Veterans' Affairs, Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations and relevant legislation.

Developed and facilitated a Strategic Thinking, Planning and Information process across the organisation embracing customers, staff, management, stakeholders and healthcare service providers. Developed a Decision Making Model for evaluation of major projects, using Value Focusing® methodologies.
