Commonwealth Department of Finance and Deregulation

As a central agency of the Australian Government, the Department of Finance and Deregulation (Finance) plays an important role in assisting government across a wide range of policy areas to ensure its outcomes are met, particularly with regard to expenditure and financial management, deregulation reform and the operations of government.

Some of VCG's work:

VCG worked together with the Department of Defence and the Central Agencies (Department of Finance and Deregulation, Department of Treasury and the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet) to support efforts to achieve the 2030 force structure articulated in the White Paper in an affordable and sustainable way. The Value Creation Group assisted the departments agree an ongoing engagement strategy for continued efforts on this area of critical government business.
