This Instrument is designed to assist leaders in identifying the extent to which they engage in certain leadership behaviours.

Throughout this survey, the person you are assessing is referred to as 'the leader'.
You are asked to assess and rate the leader against twenty-three leadership behaviour statements that have been developed by the senior leadership team. The behaviour statements relate to one of six capabilities in the Leadership Expectations Model as listed below:

Promotes collaboration, internally and externally
Provides a clear sense of direction
Leads by example
Creates and sustains the climate for our people to be successful
Demonstrates courage and integrity in dealing with difficult issues
Engages others in open and honest communication

In essence you are being asked to reflect on the extent to which the leader behaves in ways that demonstrate each capability.

PLEASE NOTE: It is important that you carefully read the instruction sheet that was attached to the email with the name and code of the leader(s) you have been asked to assess. This sheet gives context to the exercise and also provides advice to help you complete the survey more effectively.
